Windows Before

Nearly all the windows in the building had been broken out, taken out or replaced with wood, other old windows or doors nailed up over the openings, etc.  These windows are in the Science room or what is now our One-Room School room.

Every window in the building was handmade using Japanese Cedar, which resist bugs and rot. Each one cost between $800 and $1200 and all were paid for by donations from former students.  Each donated $500 toward the window, and the rest was paid from general window donations.  The windows have a plaque on the inside to show in who's memory the money was donated.
