Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Egleston and family were Mr. and Mrs. Drew3 Wright and children, Linda and Geral, of Oklahoma City. While here the Wrights also visited relatives and friends at Glenwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wingfield visited Mrs. Wingfield’s mother, Mrs. Tommy Holder, at Valliant, Oklahoma, Sunday. Mrs. Holder’s home is in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
Mr. and Mrs. George S. Johnston of St. Louis, Mo., Miss Donna Johnston and Mr. Jim Walker of Brookland, Arkansas, visited with the Pete Davidson family Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Widener visited with relatives in Paragould over the weekend.
Mrs. Carroll Pierce spent Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Layne Sparks and daughters of Malvern. Mr.. and Mrs. Earl Tubbs and daughters of Blytheville were at Malvern visiting Mrs. Tubbs’ sister and another also.
Mr. and Mrs. Craig Clanton of Oklahoma City spent the weekend with Mrs. Clanton’s mother, Mrs. Lucille Tuberville.
Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hickey Monday were Mr. and Mrs. S.N. Hickey, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Hickey and Pat Hutchenson, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lybrand, Brenda and Michael. They observed Mr. S. N. Hickey’s 83rd birthday.
Mrs. George Davis and son, Jimmy, of Little Rock, picked up Mrs. Maggie Coats at the Green Glen Nursing home at Monticello Thursday morning of last week and brought her to her daughter’s Mrs. Juanita Hickey’s to make her home there.
Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Peters of 5715 Victory Ave, Charleston, West Virginia, were visiting in Montgomery County last week and with Mr. Peter’s sister, Mrs. Eva Bailey, in Hot Springs. They were enroute home after spending the (paper error) visiting Mr. Peter’s mother, Mrs. Maggie Peters, in Shreveport, La.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Jackson left Monday after spending the Labor Day holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. I. D. O’Neal, and families.
