Montgomery County has been unusually dry the past two years and the foliage color was expected to be very poor this year. However, it surprised us and the trees have been very colorful. It is doubtful that the color or leaves will last as long as normal, but for the last weekend in October they have been beautiful, as has the weather. The clear, bright blue sky made a wonderful backdrop for the trees. Enjoy fall in the Ouachitas. All photos belong to Shirley Manning.
