Albert Pike & Little Missouri Falls

There is hardly a time of the year when one can visit Albert Pike Recreation Area and Little Missouri Falls when it is not beautiful.  However, it is very hard to beat the scenery in the fall of the year when the hardwoods are yellow and gold, in contrast to the stately green pines.

If you are not familiar with the name Albert Pike click HERE to read about why this area got its name, for this great man of Masonic history, and Civil War history, who once lived here.

If you are a 4-Wheeler fan, please be mindful of the signs warning against 4-wheeling in parts of this area.  Many fines have been handed out recently.  And, please, pick up your garbage and deposit it in one of the many cans provided or take it out with you.  We have no maid service in the area!

These photos were taken by Shirley Manning, traveling the road to and from Albert Pike, and while in the area and the Little Missouri Falls areas.  All are copyrighted.  Please do not STEAL!
